E-textbooks, available through the DIT library website, are becoming very popular with students. In fact, according to recent usage statistics, Cathal Brugha St students are among the biggest users of e-books in the DIT.
A wide range of books are available including, amongst many others, the Larder chef (4th edition) which is a standard text for culinary arts students, Clay's handbook of environmental health (19th edition) for environmental health students, and Tourism: principles and practice (3rd edition) for tourism students.
Chances are, there's an e-textbook suitable for your assignment. While there are restrictions on copying and printing ebooks, they can be read on any computer provided you have set up a library PIN number. To search for e-books simply go on to the library webpage, click on advanced search, limit the material type to EBOOKS, and then enter your search terms. Alternatively, do a basic search and look out for this logo
