OPENING HOURS

Cathal Brugha St Library wishes to remind readers that the library is currently open as follows:

MON, TUES, WED 9am - 9pm.

THURS 9am - 5.15pm

FRI 9am -5 pm.

Regarding Saturday openings, we are currently only open on those Saturdays that are near to examinations.

However, it is hoped that other Saturday openings will be added as soon as resources allow.

In the meantime, we would like to remind all readers that other DIT libraries are open on Saturdays, and on Thursday evenings.

THURSDAY EVENING AND SATURDAY OPENINGS AT CATHAL BRUGHA ST

DIT Cathal Brugha St Library would like to inform all our readers that arrangements have now been put in place to bring about regular library opening on Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Until now, Cathal Brugha St Library has only had Saturday openings around the time of examinations, and we have been unable to open on Thursday evenings.

We are now happy to let all readers know that as we have been able to recruit the necessary additional staff, we will be able to open on Thursday evenings until 9pm starting from March 16th, plus Saturdays from 10am - 5pm starting from March 23rd.

This represents an important and valuable addition to the service we are able to deliver for students and staff in this campus.

We would also like to remind all readers that other DIT sites are also open on Thursday nights and Saturdays.

Cathal Brugha St Library would like to remind all readers that we are OPEN SATURDAY 21ST JANUARY from 10 am - 5 pm.

A normal range of library services IS available, so now that term is getting under way again, why not come in and avail of it?

CHRISTMAS OPENING (AND CLOSING)!

DIT Cathal Brugha St Library will be open as normal up to and including Saturday 17th December.

From Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd December inclusive, we will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Library will be CLOSED  from Friday 23rd December to Monday 2nd January inclusive.

Normal opening hours (including evenings) will resume on Tuesday 3rd January.

We would like to wish all our readers an enjoyable and rewarding Christmas break.

Saturday Library Opening

The Library in Cathal Brugha Street will commence Saturday opening to facilitate Students studying for exams. Please be advised that we will be open from Saturday Dec 3rd from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm and subsequent Saturdays as outlined on our Library notices and our Webpage.

HALLOWEEN BANK HOLIDAY

Just a reminder to all our readers that Cathal Brugha Street library will be CLOSED from 5pm on Friday 28th October until 9am on Tuesday 1st November.

We wish all our readers an enjoyable (and spooky?) Halloween bank holiday.

TERM-TIME AGAIN

As from Monday 12th September, Cathal Brugha St Library will be open on term-time hours.

These are:

Monday to Wednesday 9am - 9pm.
Thursday 9am - 5.15pm.
Friday 9am - 5pm.

There will be Saturday openings closer to the first semester exams.

We would like to welcome in particular the new first-year students and we hope we can help them to get the most out of their studies.
