DIT student is finalist in Euro-toques Young Chef of the Year Competition

DIT culinary art student, Chris Fullam (on the far right of the above picture), is one of the finalists in the Euro-toques Young Chef of the Year Competition. The competition, run in association with Fáilte Ireland and sponsored by La Rousse Foods, aims to develop Irish cooking and promote Irish cuisine. It's a prestigious competition and Chris faces stiff competition for a prize that includes an all expenses paid stage at two-starred Michelin restaurant, The Square in London.

The final will be held on Sunday November 23rd at a venue in Dublin. The venue has yet to be decided but you can keep up-to-date with the competition by following #youngchef2014 on twitter or liking Euro-toques Ireland on Facebook.
