DIT Cathal Brugha St Library would like to inform all our readers
that arrangements have now been put in place to bring about regular
library opening on Thursday evenings and Saturdays.
Until
now, Cathal Brugha St Library has only had Saturday openings around the
time of examinations, and we have been unable to open on Thursday
evenings.
We are now happy to let all readers know that
as we have been able to recruit the necessary additional staff, we will
be able to open on Thursday evenings until 9pm starting from March 16th, plus Saturdays from 10am - 5pm starting from March 23rd.
This represents an important and valuable addition to the service we are able to deliver for students and staff in this campus.
We would also like to remind all readers that other DIT sites are also open on Thursday nights and Saturdays.

A hands on session on how to use Scopus, 28th February, in the Library training room, Aungier Street. There will be two sessions, 9.30am-10.45am & 11.00am-12.15pm. This will be a practical demonstration of how to use the Scopus database.
These two sessions will be identical in content, so please only book one session.
Places are limited, so please contact fiachra.mangan@dit.ie, if you are unable to attend.

OPENING HOURS
Cathal Brugha St Library wishes to remind readers that the library is currently open as follows:
MON, TUES, WED 9am - 9pm.
THURS 9am - 5.15pm
FRI 9am -5 pm.
Regarding Saturday openings, we are currently only open on those Saturdays that are near to examinations.
However, it is hoped that other Saturday openings will be added as soon as resources allow.
In the meantime, we would like to remind all readers that other DIT libraries are open on Saturdays, and on Thursday evenings.

CHRISTMAS OPENING (AND CLOSING)!
DIT Cathal Brugha St Library will be open as normal up to and including Saturday 17th December.
From Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd December inclusive, we will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
The Library will be CLOSED from Friday 23rd December to Monday 2nd January inclusive.
Normal opening hours (including evenings) will resume on Tuesday 3rd January.
We would like to wish all our readers an enjoyable and rewarding Christmas break.
