Space chops

We're not sure if this counts as food science but you might be interested to know that, at long last, someone has sent a lamb chop into space.

A helium weather balloon was used to send the intrepid chop (and a camera) into the Earth's upper atmosphere. An article on the chops epic journey is available on the Irish Times along with an edited video.
